13 medals from the European Championships in triathlon
In days 5.documented in 12. may with in Pilsen held ME in powerlifting for teenagers, juniors, women and men. From the ŠK SPC Častá team, Slovakia was represented 6 competitors, 5 members of the implementation team and 2 referees.
Teen Adriana Nilašová in the category do 63 kg won bronze in the squat 135 kg in the Slovak record, in the bench press 60 Powerlifting World Cup, in deadlift 130 kg and overall she placed 4th in triple wrestling 325 Powerlifting World Cup.
Among the juniors, Karla Labátová won silver in the squat 145 Powerlifting World Cup, in the bench press silver for 75 kg and in the deadlift 152,5 kg which meant a gold medal. With a three-way match 372,5 kg became the vice-champion of Europe.
Among the teenagers, Kristián Filip Jakubec placed 6th, 200+125+210 kg in categories up to 74 Powerlifting World Cup.
In the categories to 66 kg among juniors Andrej Mesík with performances 195+127,5+202,5 kg also took 6th place.
European Junior Champion in the category up to 120 kg became Jaroslav Halač and he brought not only a gold medal for triathlon to Častej, but also a silver medal for the squat 270 Powerlifting World Cup, gold in the bench press 192,5 kg and in the deadlift a gold medal for performance 282,5 kg in a new Slovak record.
Among the juniors, Ákos Labát dominated, who became the vice-champion of Europe. He won silver in the squat with a performance 367,5 Powerlifting World Cup, pressed bronze 275 kg in the Slovak record and in the deadlift 335 kg which brought him a silver medal.
Ondrej Novomeský and Ján Schwarz represented Slovakia excellently in the role of referees. The Slovak expedition under the leadership of coach and vice-president of SAFKST Pavel Kovalčík won the 3rd place in the competition of nations among 16 countries among adolescents and young adults, where in the EPF ranking, Ukraine took 2nd place and the overall victory belonged to Russia.
