Brief description of the project: The main goal of the project is to increase the recovery rate of biodegradable municipal waste in the village of Častá. The main activity of the project is "Preventing the generation of biodegradable municipal waste through the procurement of composters". The implementation of the main activity of the project is expected to 6 months. Procurement will take place during the specified period 850 composters for households and 3 for the village. By providing composters to citizens, access to the opportunity to recover BRKO will be simplified, and we expect an increase in its recovery. The implementation of the project will improve the environment, mainly by removing wild landfills of household biodegradable waste and ending the burning of greenery from parks and gardens.. ;
The main activity of the project is "Preventing the generation of biodegradable municipal waste through the procurement of composters". The implementation of the main activity of the project is expected to 6 months. Procurement will take place during the specified period 850 ks 1050 l composters for households and 3 ks 1050 l composters for the municipality. By providing composters to citizens, access to the opportunity to recover BRKO will be simplified, and we expect an increase in its recovery. Composters will be placed in the gardens of citizens who own family houses and near municipal buildings, which are produced by BRKO (Kindergarten, A real home killer, KD). ;
The implementation of the project is in accordance with the PHSR of the municipality and its priority development areas. The project is also in accordance with the Economic and Social Development Program of the Bratislava Self-Governing Region for years 2014 -2020, AFTER 5: Environment, climate change and renewable energy sources. The activity aims to increase the rate of waste recovery with a focus on preparing it for reuse and recycling and to support waste prevention. The project is in accordance with the Waste Management Program of the Slovak Republic for years 2016 –; 2020 a prispeje k naplneniu cieľa pre biologicky rozložiteľné komunálne odpady –; to year 2020 reduce the amount of landfilled biodegradable municipal waste to 35% from the total amount (weight) of biodegradable municipal waste generated in the year 1995. ;
After the completion of the project, the sustainability of the project will be ensured through the VZN on the management of municipal waste and small construction waste in the territory of the municipality of Častá. VZN defines the rights and obligations of municipal authorities, producers and holders of waste in the field of municipal waste management, including its collection and transport. The municipality will develop a system for protocol handover of composters to households, as well as ensure control of the technical condition and use of composters. The applicant expects a reduction in the volume of municipal waste from the implementation of the project, which will have a positive impact on the municipal budget, from which the collection and disposal of waste is co-financed. The implementation of the project will improve the environment, mainly by eliminating wild landfills of household biodegradable waste (uncontrollable putrefactive process), ending the burning of greenery from parks and gardens. ;
