On 16.12.2015 a refurbished Tatra fire engine was delivered to our village 148 municipal volunteer fire department. The car was handed over by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of the Interior Mr. Róbert Kaliňák. In the courtyard of the fire station, he was welcomed by the mounted fire brigade with its commander Ľudovít Neshod.
During the presentation of the badge, we were also honored with a visit by Mr. Alexander the Unedible, President of the Slovak Fire and Rescue Service, Pension EMA. Vendelín Horváth, general secretary of the Voluntary Fire Protection of the Slovak Republic and Mr. Martin Blaha. director of the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Service in Bratislava. We believe that the fire engine will serve for a very long time and will help in the daily work of our fire brigade.
After the handover, a small snack was also prepared in the fire station building. Firefighters spent with Mr. ministers in a friendly conversation for a few minutes, where they discussed further plans together, also about previous experiences in firefighting.
