Riešenie areálu kúpaliska Častá –; suggestions
Students from the Department of Architecture of SvF STU, as part of studio work, were given the task of designing a new functional use of the land of the current summer swimming pool in Časta. The proposals were prepared under the guidance of ing.arch. Eva Borecká, PhD.
The three studies presented represent different possibilities, they serve as a subject for verifying the mass-spatial solution of the area, Cannot be ordered for testing. for the development of a local construction program.
The presented posters briefly represent architectural studies, which were processed in separate elaborations.
As part of the development of tourism in the village, the common starting point for students was information about the possibility of building a cycle path , which would lead through the vineyards in front of the planned area. Everyone in the proposal considered building a bicycle stop at the entrance to the area- where the buffet will be, small sports field, hygiene,the possibility of camping. They also thought about building a rain pond or the possibility of swimming in a bio pool.
1.Proposal Bc. Matej Vajdulák – Community Center Vršok, Common
The student designed a cultural and social center, where the volume of the original pool is used to build a cinema hall with a plug-in stepped auditorium. The space of the hall would have a multi-purpose use for various municipal activities. There are other premises in the building, for the activity of clubs and circles. In the architectural solution, he considers the modern concept of a green roof

The proposal used the volume of the pool to build basement technical spaces. Disposition of rooms, where he is considering spaces for club activities, the reading room-library is centered around the central atrium. The layout of the rooms can be adjusted using variable partitions. An important moment is the connection of the interior with the exterior and direct contact with nature. The architecture draws its theme from the traditional rural shape of gable roofs, part of the building has a walkable green roof.

The graduate was considering preserving the swimming pool. He proposes expanding the pool and rebuilding it into a bio-swimming pool. Water purification is ensured by aquatic plants and natural biological processes. The area would be used throughout the year, in the summer for swimming, in winter for ice skating. The proposed building will serve year-round for sports activities and interest groups for different age groups. The entire area is complemented by the planting of park greenery. The construction of the building is designed as a wooden building. The architecture is based on modern trends inspired by nature.
